Joe Brady as their "passing game coordinator?"

This is the one that really gets people upset. This board spent an entire summer trashing the shrimp boat captain for hiring low level Saints assistant and laughing at LSU fans for it. Then, the kid comes in with an offense that puts up historic numbers. It still has people on edge. You hate to see it.

Sorry, don't recall this and I would probably guess the vast majority never even heard of Brady until the season started and the offense began putting up big numbers.

I love the Dawgs' party line of "If it wasn't for Saban at Bama, Kirby would have won two or three Championships by now".

Bitch please.

If we are going to use that hypothetical, then Les Miles would have won four or five NCs at LSU. Most years his team fell apart after the loss to Bama. Without Saban there, then LSU runs through the West and destroys the East team in Atlanta on their way to destroying the opponent unlucky enough to meet LSU in the BCS NC.

Also, Kirby doesn't even get on the radar to be hired by UGA. Y'all would have hired Tom Herman or someone else from Meyers' coaching tree.

Most people didn't know who Joe Brady was... nor was he topic of discussion any meaningful dialogue during the Summer months on SEC Rant in 2019. He came, conquered and then left.

There were a lot of folks downing the hire in some of the bumped topics following the championship.

Credit to what Joe Brady did but to say he was a constant topic of discussion during the Summer of 2019 on the SEC Rant is vastly overstated. Should be easy to find more then two threads started by non LSU posters during that period right?

No, the search function doesn't seem to go back that far

We both know that anything that's on the internet will never be lost, I tried to Google Joe Brady "SEC Rant" I went 7 pages deep to find a second thread started by a non LSU fan during that period.

Despite what you guys think or trying to rewrite history Joe Brady wasn't on the Ranters radar, he sure as hell introduced himself during the season though.

O could win one at A&M Florida Georgia and Bama. Just on his recruiting and energy. Players and coaches know it.

247 Sports wasn't around in 1999. Tom Lemming was. It's rather obvious that hindsight plays a big role in how 247 Sports ranks recruiting classes from that era.

A&M, Bama, AU, UF, UT, UGA. Big program, lots of money and fan support, riding a recruiting waive and hire them assistants to actually run the show.
