You probably got a better OLine at UGA and youve likely got better skill guys at Alabama. Both have talented but unproven QB’s.

I dont know that it’s clear cut.

Not this past year, but pre-Durkin aTm and pre-2020 LSU were typically at the top of the league defensively, and you have to expect both of them bounce back in the near future.

But you don't expect UF to get back there or UT to continue to improve?

Georgia, not close.

On paper Ga. Until you realize Kirby is not going to let an OC do anything other than safe game management. Saban will allow his OC the leeway to bring in top guys and use them. Kirby is struggling to bring in the O skill guys for a reason.

Which coach do you think you could work better with, Kirby or Saban?

How many more years is Saban going to be around? He turns 72 this Oct.

Did you watch our offense the past few years with Monken?

The only thing missing here is the "Saban was right again" thing.

Bama just because Saban will retire before Kirby and there's always the chance you can take the reigns.

Not unattractive some coordinators don’t want the heat/pressure of win or else and would rather stay at a place with less pressure to win Championship every yr or season is failure

Bama. Saban has proven to allow his OC’s to adapt and invent.

Absolutely. Limited passing outside of possession WR and a TE. Unimaginative outside using a TE and possession WR in the running game. Low risk O with inflated stats because of the number of games and weak schedule (while leaving starters in)

Terrible WR recruiting, limited RB recruiting. 1 solid TE recruit (Bowers).

Lol

#3 receiver was a running back.
#4 receiver was a second tight end.

Stetson finished with the most passing yards in the conference.
But it was "limited".

Is it unimaginative because we were good at everything?
Or unimaginative because we formationed and motioned defenses to death.

We won games on inside zone.
On outside zone.
On power/counter.
And on pin and pull.
We won games on "extension of the run game" screens, sweeps, and arrows.
We won games on RPO.

We literally did whatever it took to beat our opponents (which includes literally every style/scheme imaginable).

Stetson, like Hooker, rarely threw in the 4th quarter.
We literally started subbing linemen in the 3rd offensive series of the game (which is why it is laughable that you think they are starters in the 3rd and 4th quarters).
We literally rotated backs and receivers all game (7 targets with 20+ yards receiving per game average. 3 backs with 40+ yards rushing per game average).

I say it all of the time, Smokey.
Never change. This is too much entertainment to give up.

If Kirby has figured out how to win so much with this bad of offensive scheme and talent, everyone else is fricked.

Pretty limited and unimpressive honestly.

But that’s it, UGAs O wasn’t good at everything. They had a generational talent at TE and played a weak schedule and played more games than everyone else.

Hooker is light years better than Bennett, but that’s really a low bar.
In 10.5 games he was averaging 300 yards a game, with a higher completion percentage, the same number of TDs (in 4.5 fewer games) , actually threw to WRs(5 WRs with more yards than UGAs #2 WR in fewer games). And had double Bennetts rushing yards (again in 4.5 fewer games). And at 6’4 he’s got the measurables to be taken seriously as an NFL prospect. Better stats, better size, better arm, and more athletic, just a better all around QB.
