Which OC position is more attractive, Alabama or Georgia?

Assuming Todd Monken heads back to the NFL, which job is "better?"
Fairly similar situations in that both are championship programs with defensive minded head coaches who will be somewhat hands off as far as the offense goes.

Probably comes down to a coach's evaluation of the quarterback situation at each school.

I truly don't know. Both have elite talent, paths to great jobs, defensive coaches who have a general plan for their offense but let you operate inside of that. Before I'd say Alabama had more pressure but after the last 2 seasons the expectation level from fans for a UGA offense is probably a pretty high standard. Both have a stable of backs and group of untested highly rated QBs.
Think you'd be pretty thrilled with either one. Tools are there for you to show up, do good work and get a Top 30 HC gig within 2-3 years. Can't ask for much else.

That and the relationship with the HC.
I don't think the jobs are very far apart at all. But could easily come down to personal variables (i.e. location, HC, etc.).

The difference between the two teams right now is not as much talent at the skill positions as it is line play.
For that reason, Georgia.
For that reason, Georgia.

It's wild how similar they are.
Lot of talent at quarterback as well but not really anyone proven.

I think we're on the right path to getting back there, but Georgia is certainly ahead right now in that area. And that's a huge plus for sure.

Young OC? Saban. Established? Kirby. With Kirby you have a much easier schedule, especially for the defenses you’re playing against. You’ll have great talent at both, but Saban defenses haven’t been great since 2017, and it’s yet to be seen if they will

Get outta here with this bullshite. Compare last year’s schedules and tell me how UGA’s is so much easier.

Both teams are lacking in the OL department right now.

Different OCs will have different answers.
UGA fans will tout Athens as being a deciding factor (what the wife wants is what the wife gets).
But I could see a list of OCs being split 50/50 and each having a great reason for their decision.

My grandmother just turned down the Bama OC job, so I’d say Georgia.

Not including Alabama and UGA

There wasn't thatmuch of a difference in defensive quality between the divisions. At least not like you're trying to portray.

Not this past year, but pre-Durkin aTm and pre-2020 LSU were typically at the top of the league defensively, and you have to expect both of them bounce back in the near future.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. We're feeling pretty good right now. Were up for and should have won the Joe Moore award. Haven't heard anyone that's in the know that thinks we're not gonna be good there next year. Returning everyone that started in the playoff games but one.
