Where would you rather be if you were an up and coming head coach in college football?

Single Coach = Ole Miss hands down
Married Coach = Arkansas (they have more upside and better facilities -- plus Fayetteville is nice)

Depends.
There’s more NFL talent in the recruiting areas that Mississippi traditionally covers. However, NW Arkansas is infinitely more appealing from a livability standpoint.

This. More talent in the immediate area and in most years, some high caliber ones up the road in Memphis

Ole Miss has better high school and juco talent. Sec network money has really helped eliminate the gap between schools with more wealthy donors. 20 years ago it was Arkansas but now I’d say it’s ole miss because of access to talent.

As a coach... I want the kids that tweet gas mask bong vids on draft night

Trick question.
You live in Northwest Arkansas and coach Ole Miss’ football program remotely.

When they aren’t paying for escorts and such under Freeze, Ole Miss recruits right around the same as Arkansas (and MSU for that matter). All three are around 25ish most years.

Ole mIss, and it’s not close. The talent pool alone in Mississippi gives the advantage. Arkansas especially Fayetteville is gorgeous, but players coming out of high school aren’t looking at scenery, they’re looking at the state of the program, and a lot of Mississippians with talent want to stay in the state, and a lot of them choose between State and Ole Miss. That is an advantage to Arkansas, because they don’t have to compete with anyone in state, but they’re getting mostly hand me downs from the rest of the SEC, Big 12, and Big ten.

I took this to mean talent as in hot coeds, but I guess the other meaning of better in-state football recruiting holds true as well.

You would take talent as to meaning talk about high school boys. Freak
