Florida or Alabama

Bama, if the powers that be are fully behind you. If they are, the whole system gives support like no other school. They go all in. They will do absolutely anything to win. Anything.
Florida is close due to their solid sports performance over the years and the recruiting base that is right there.

Bama will give you more behind-the-scenes support, but Florida's recruiting base allows great offensive coaches to strut their stuff with more ease.
As Bear Bryant said, all Florida needs is the right man and they WILL be elite.

Florida has better advantage for local recruiting, but Bama is the better job

Depends. Are you talking about as an overall athletic department? I would go with Florida. They have a winning tradition in softball and basketball.
If you are talking about football, this is just silly.

Florida provides nearby access to beaches. Bama is surrounded by Alabama.

Fla is a better job.... because it's the only one vacant between the two teams.

BAMA easily!! The facilities are second to none! Support is there to make anyone successful.
If you are going by in state talent only in which to build your program, FLORIDA is without a doubt the better job. In state talent in Alabama is cyclical up and down every 2-3 years.

It hasn't helped UF recruiting base to have all those other D1 schools like UCF,FIU,USF and FAU
in the state

Let's take away the Nick Saban era for just a moment and reevaluate this. Let's say Bama just fired Mike Shula and Florida just fired Mac. Both teams are where they were/are at that very moment right now. Which is the better job?
Bama is easy to point to right now as the better job, especially given the last several years. But would it have been viewed that way if this were the end of the 2001 season?

There are no beaches near Gainesville

I don't think you can make that comparison still. '01 was a time with BAMA going on probation or being on probation.
A more likely comparison would have been around the '89 seasons with Stallings and Spurrier arriving at their respective schools. Neither was on top, facilities weren't up to par, etc.

Florida has a location recruiting advantage. Everything else is Bama. Money, support, facilities, tradition, etc.
Bama is the better job.
