In other words, You totally exaggerate the impact of that injury.

These injuries appear to get worse and worse as time moves along.

Auburn fans love to have excuses on hand for their losses. It is the little brother syndrome to have them ready for any given Saturday.

By the end of the game he was a shadow of his former self, practically unplayable.

quote:

When the ol can't open as many holes, or block a pass rush, and WRs struggle to get open, you can't blame any of that on a hurt rb shoulder. A healthy rb was gonna struggle with that set up just as ours did in game 1.

Actually, a healthy RB does contribute to that. You see, football isn't just based on one or the other -- most teams don't have two 5* senior running backs splitting touches that will get 5 yards regardless of how well the blocking is.

Now, when you have someone who can do that, it opens up those lanes a lot more for passing, the lanes for passing in turn open up the running game. It's cyclical, you see. It's easier to pass when your running game is working, it's easier to run when your passing game is working because the defense can't just load the box.

However, when you load the box against a weaker RB, say, a third string RB, that severely affects how the defense will react. Now they don't have to load the box, now they can focus on coverage.

quote:

Besides, none of that explains why our offense had much more success as well. Kj doesn't play defense.

You had 13 points through three quarters, that's not success.

quote:

Moreso, Do you blame hurt kj for our kicker not missinga kick this time? For not unforced fumbling a punt? For not trying to jump a punt wall? No, he had nothing to do with any of that.

That's a stupid, nonsensical argument that has nothing to do with what we're talking about.

We're talking about a one score game wherein the best player in the SEC was clearly not healthy -- and their capacity to make first downs (keep their defense off of the field) and what had clearly adjusted their capacity for a functioning offense in the red zone.

I want to know, and this question is important:

Are you saying that KJ had zero impact on a game that was a one score game through three quarters? That he wouldn't have given them a few more first downs, that they might not have been able to punch it into the end zone, or at least use him as a decoy? Are you saying that their running game working wouldn't have aided them in throwing?

It's cool, puff your chest out, you won a game against a team that had the hardest schedule in the country while you cruised on cupcakes. If a team like Auburn can put 500 yards up on you, just wait until you see a team that actually has a decent quarterback and running back tandem.

the 4th quarter it was still 13 - 7.

That was with the refs incorrectly taking a uga td off the board and halted our 2nd drive on the 2nd half on another bs call. Maybe you should rewatch the game as you seen yo have forgotten those impact calls for auburn.

McElwain dominated Smart in their first matchup. McElwain.

Dominated.

You guys scored 10 points through four quarters. Let that sink in, man. Didn't he beat you guys the first year, too?

27 - 3 in 2015.

24 - 10 in 2016??

No wonder ya'll so chapped in the arse, anyone would if McElwain had a winning record against their school and they needed us to be down 18 scholarship players.

Oh they put too many players on the field? It's the refs fault that Kirby can't count? Now I've heard it all.

Facemasks are okay to grab these days? Jesus frick you guys are so unbelievable. I guess eating dogshit for twenty years will do that to someone.

Chubb and Michel leave -- and we'll see what Georgia's offense is like next season and they finally realize just how well off Richt left the next coach.

Our backup rbs are awesome: when Sony got hurt, Swift crushed auburn (no way you watched the game) and Holyfield crushed Florida when we sat the seniors. Even better, we bring in two 5 star rbs with them. You should check out our current recruiting class as a whole. It's gonna blow your mind.

First year head coach - there's always bumps in the road. We actually made much better progress in year two than I expected. Don't worry though. We should be okay moving forward.

And as for next year we have Swift, Holyfield and the #1 and #3 RBs in the country committed and the line will continue to improve so we should be fine.

Won by 35. We probably didn't need all 18.

Oh you mean the Florida team that also got crushed by Missouri? You realize we were starting 21 underclassmen that game, right? It's not impressive.

And you still have fricking Chubb behind Michel, or Michel behind Chubb.

It's not impressive, m8. You beat some terrible teams in the East and got your skull crushed against a healthy Auburn, the one actual team on your schedule.

I didn't say anything about too many men on the field or face masks. I am talking about other fouls, and I was specific with when they occurred. Go back and watch the game as your memory is awful.

Your cognitive ignorance is impressive. This is gonna be our 2nd straight best recruiting class ever. Comment on that.

Go on thinking our rbs aren't gonna be awesome yet again. It's one of the dumbest thoughts possible. Smart football fans know swift is a badass. They saw it all year long. They saw him crush auburn. They know about our 3rd duo of 5 star recruits.

What's funny is that You said our rbs sucked when we lost Crowell, when we lost gurley, when we lost Chubb, and were wrong each time. Get used to it

I made 2 points you havent commented on yet:

The refs took a uga td off the board. That's 17-7 vs 13-7. 17 points in a row.

The refs pushed uga back to our 15 yard line after a strong Chubb run. Cost us 25+ yards. How many points?

Both have to deal with UGA and their in state rival making the playoffs and recruiting to build or sustain dynasties

I'd say UGA, considering they are in a talent rich state, don't have to deal with an in-state rival worth a shite, and haven't won a NC since the early 80's.

When freshman swift made that first big play vs uf, he got the ball from a freshman qb, and we had 2 freshmen ol blocking on the play, with a soph te and a soph wr on the field. Good coaches can get young underclassmen talent to do well. Crazy foreign concept to a uf fan.

AU has actually accomplished as much or more than most teams in the SEC other than Alabama.

Your freshman quarterback had four completions. He totally won the game.

I provided a list of 6 underclassmen on the field at the same time, and you act as if you only saw a List of 1. Your Cognitive ignorance continues to amaze me.
