They said the same thing about Jimbo and FSU.

Maybe but even then we wouldn't be rivals. We both have teams we hate more.

How the frick does this apply to Auburn? We’ve had more success recently than UGA.

Can we imagine just for a moment a world where KJ was healthy in the SECCG? Can you imagine the difference in the threads today?

Georgia could have still won, but their whole narrative that KJ being out of the game was negligible and Kirby just ''adjusted'' well has been hilarious to watch.

uga was up 7 when 60% KJ was driving in the 4th...we all know what would have happened if he'd been healthy. I agree Kirby adjusted, probably would have cut the 23 point win in half.

Straws clearly has it worse than au or sc fans. He cannot stand how good uga became under smart this year.

That was true until we beat your asses down on 12/2

The only thing he's done that's been 'good' is cruising in an SEC East that is a shadow of itself (the worst division in P5) and beating Notre Dame by 1.
Richt beat that same team by like 35 or something.
Fortune and skill are two different things, a healthy KJ = Georgia gets crushed.
Just be happy that you guys can take advantage of an easy year with two NFL senior 5* running backs in the weakest the East has been in years if not ever.

It's easy to adjust, though, when you're missing the best player on your team. Auburn drew the short straw of having to play 3 teams in the playoff 4 times -- if they had a schedule like Georgia's they'd probably have no problem running the table either.

Amazing focus and adjustments changed the game more than an injury to one rb, who played. Every single player on auburn got pushed around. It was the exact opposite of the first game. The refs even gave them some absurd calls to keep it close, but we overcame. Smart soundly beat your new coach, so that's got to leave another mark on you. That's your future. Get used to it.

Who played at like 50%, how can you believe that KJ was anywhere near helthy? He touched it 20 times less than the last game, you mook. It's way easier to adjust your defensive game to a team missing the SEC Player of the year.

Bro, by the 4th quarter it was still 13 - 7. That's not ''pushed around''. Especially since they were driving before their injured running back fumbled it.
This alternate history Georgia fans tell themselves is hilarious.

Here's the game overview since you clearly weren't actually watching the game.
I wonder if a healthy KJ would have helped their offense for the three quarters that it was a one score game?

I've got an idea. Recruit more running backs so you don't run your prize horse in the ground by the end of the season. Injuries happen to everyone - depth is part of the game.
Sony tweaked his knee in the second half - we took him out and sent in Swift.

You mean like Kirby did in year one when Chubb tweaked his knee and Georgia lost 5 games, including Vanderbilt and Ole Miss?
Them losing KJ is worse than losing a QB, because their offense is run heavy, and most people don't have a second 5* future NFL RB to back up their other 5* future NFL RB like Richt left for Kirby.

Our second running back was injured. Maybe Gus recruits too many injury prone players, but to say he only recruited one good running back is a false statement.
Hell, KJ was technically our backup.

Just wait until Chubb and Michel leave -- and we'll see what Georgia's offense is like next season and they finally realize just how well off Richt left the next coach.
They think every team plays in the worst division with two NFL senior running backs sharing touches.

He has gone from 80% to 70% to 60% and now to 50%. When are you gonna drop it to 25%?
When the ol can't open as many holes, or block a pass rush, and WRs struggle to get open, you can't blame any of that on a hurt rb shoulder. A healthy rb was gonna struggle with that set up just as ours did in game 1.
Besides, none of that explains why our offense had much more success as well. Kj doesn't play defense.
Moreso, Do you blame hurt kj for our kicker not missinga kick this time? For not unforced fumbling a punt? For not trying to jump a punt wall? No, he had nothing to do with any of that.
In other words, You totally exaggerate the impact of that injury.

Chubb was coming back from an ACL injury last year - yet it never dawned on me to blame all of our losses on that because we have other backs. Sony tweaked his knee in the SECCG - we didn't let him run injured because we care about our players.
Why doesn't Gus care about his players?
