Which coach will be blowing a gasket over the officiating?

Doesn’t matter, we have more money.

It doesn't matter. The Bammer check has cleared to bank.
Bammer's record of 27 straight years withhout a getting called for holding will stand.

My understanding is that away team usually brings officials from their conference in OOC games. I could be wrong on that, though.

With Saturday's game being held in Austin, Big 12 officials will be in charge. The SEC will appoint officials for the game in Tuscaloosa in 2023.
"Game officials will be appointed by the Big 12 Conference of the Host Institution," the game contract for 2022 signed in 2018 reads. "Fees and expenses of the officials shall be paid by the host institution."

The officials always come from the away team.

This is usually the case but I thought I heard earlier in the week that the AD's of both schools have an agreement in the contract for the series to do the opposite. Big 12 officials this year at Texas and SEC officials next year at Alabama. Not totally sure but maybe someone else knows more.

As long as it's not the SEC officials both teams should be fine.

I hope these BXII refs have brushed up on the defensive rules so they don’t start throwing flags on Alabama for actually making contact with a ball carrier. Not something they see too often in their conference.

The REC reach covers the entire North American continent. I expect a completely fair and impartially called game regardless of the officiating crew. ;-)

Incorrect. As always, the REC is in charge of officiating in Alabama games.
