Because that gif is cut short. The whistle was being blown as that occurred, but the ball popped out of the Arkansas defender. No clear recovery = no overturn

Atleast Bammers won’t have to watch Saban’s little bitch arse self get out-coached again by Gus.

They blew the whistle which immediately invalidates anything that happens on the field. That's why they shouldn't anticipate what's going to happen and just let the game happen.
