SC rarely goes to the big dance despite playing in an easy conference. Clemson beat SC easily this year. Beat Florida, Bama, UGA in past 2 years.

SC has only been to big dance 5 times since 1975.
I'm not making CLemson out as some kind of powerhouse in basketball but I've been seeing SC fans act like SC is this amazing program in basketball and it is a no brainer ZIon should go there instead of Clemson.

When was the last time you went to the Final 4? Last touney win was in 1997 and havent been to the dance since 2011 so tell me again how good Clemson basketball is

making final 4 isn't that big of a deal. last year was a fluke. you guys were a pretty low seed, then you got to play Duke in Greenville due to NC political stuff.
the thing to look at it is how often programs make the big dance which is rare at SC, and CLemson. I"m not bragging about Clemson , u guys are bragging.

THey were a mediocre team that made the final 4. they didn't win any titles last year.
anything can happen once teams make the big dance b/c there isn't that much separation, especially because it is single elimination.
SC would not have won a series against Duke last year.

SC had a nice run in tournament but it isn't proof SC is better program than Clemson. Lot of it was they had favorable matchups.

Clemson was a top seed in the football playoffs,
SC was a low seed in a dumb playoff that has 68 teams to include teams with losing records. not the same thing.
the basketball playoff is kind of a circus. I would cut down it to 16 teams max. I'd like to see them go to best of 3 series each round as well. NBA type of format.
