Ole Miss and Arkansas both starting closers with their first start of the year.

LSU sucked, but we had 3 guys to start a game. What have y'all been doing all year, and why change it now?

But really it didn't matter in our case... we couldn't figure out how NOT to swing for the fence... especially in 2 strike counts.

Arky lost Pallette mid-season so it's been a bit of a 3rd day call. We could have attempted a Noland start today I guess. Maybe tell him to get us through 2 or 3 then let Kopps come in for 6 or 7 as he's done before. It's all a second guess at this point and moot.

I made the comment in my house once it got to the seventh and it was a one run game that Arkansas was in big trouble because the only man they trust on the mound is going to be running out of gas soon. In fact, you brought in your Friday starter to pitch in the 9th. Where is the rest of your staff?

You needed to score some runs today if you were starting Kopps. Y'all couldn't afford a close game unless you tried to get 4-5 innings early on with other guys.

Bianco fricked up big time. Nikhazi should be on the bump right now. He wasted him yesterday.

Arky didn't lose Pallete (Sunday starter)"mid season". They lost him in the series right before the SEC tourney. They struggled without him after losing Vermillion (Saturday starter) in the SEC tourney. Trying to win a 3 game series without their 2nd and 3rd ace is tough and it almost cost them the regional and damn sure cost them the super

McDaniel had become the Ole Miss 3rd day starter but had a rough last outing. I am guessing that is why Bianco decided to do something different this time.

Would have preferred starting Noland.

You know, you're right. I thought it was a couple of weeks prior to Georgia.

We lost a sure fire top five pick in Hoglund. I feel like that hurt us a bit.

It's really an absolute indictment on our pitching coach Hobbs that there were no other pitchers trustworthy enough to pick up the slack in the games this weekend... haven't really been impressed with him at all.

Wiggins has no pitches besides the closeyoureyesandfire 4-seam.

Noland regressed.

Vermillion has never been able to pitch anywhere consistently but up in the zone or completely out of it.

Ramage?

Monke has little to no idea where it's going.

Trest?

Pitching has been a liability our bats have covered up all season.
Bats went cold and the coaches clearly only had two pitchers they trusted with the ball all weekend.
