When will LSU fans put more interest into their own program rather than Alabama’s?

It is odd that a fan base such as that of LSU’s would care more about another program. I understand that other fan bases may envy Alabama, but most still care about their own program far more.
What makes LSU’s fan base differerent in that aspect? Why do they show much more interest in another program?

It’s really sad. Not sure why some LSU fans are so obsessed with schools other than their own. Not sure why dickriding Clemson should make them feel good.
Pretty sad and pathetic. I pulled for Bama in the Championship game. I pulled for LSU vs UCF. I have zero ties or interest in Clemson or UCF so why would I feel good about myself if either of them won.
The gloating that has gone on must be a symptom of on field failures vs Bama. Their psyche is damaged and it is pretty clear.

may be but your team has lost to Alabama 8 straight, and wasn't even competitive the last time. That and the fact Alabama is the only team to be in the playoffs every year, and 5 national titles in the last 10 years, and it's just odd for an LSU fan to trash talk.
