when the super conferences happen; will original SEC members still share a common bond?

especially the original 10 still in conference & maybe Arky & SC

the SEC chants; those won't mean so much anymore

as a fan, will most of you still feel a bond?

will you pull for an original SEC member vs a school like Clemson or FSU?

I probably will; but I THINK that would put me in the minority...

older fans will probably think like me for the most part; but the overall fan bases probably won't care as much

I don't pull for SEC people now, so no.

I am 72 and have been an LSU fan since the 1960s. I have never cheered "SEC! SEC!" nor will I ever. I do sometimes pull for some SEC teams like I did for State and OMiss baseball at Omaha the last two seasons. I never pull for Bama or UGA or UF in any sport.

Conference loyalties and traditions were destroyed primarily by the SEC from the early 1990s onward. I only like the SEC because LSUAD gets a big payday every year as an SEC member.

Change is constant. Nothing stays the same.

I'm curious the direction this whole thing is going. We are going to end up with a new division of football, will it be one giant autonomous conference with one collective bargaining agreement or will it be two(like the nfl)with one bargaining agreement or will the two conferences in the new league have different rights deals?

The young bucks just can’t process long term consequences. Only seeing the excitement of right now. They will learn just as we did.

Arkie, SC and the Miss schools will likely be removed from the SEC.

Founding members aren't going anywhere unless they choose to leave.

SC
why would the SEC remove Carolina? - Gamecocks have won more football games than Tejas since Mack Brown's 5-7 season in 2010. Tejas also has more losing seasons than USC in that time.

Family is everything. It should hold together when everything else changes. Some changes are inevitable, but not loyalty to family.

I feel a great, extremely gay kinship with founding SWC members Texas A&M and Arkansas.

And also with founding Big 12 members Texas A&M and Oklahoma.

So youre extra double gay for Aggie?

That actually explains quite a bit about the horns on this site.

Can’t wait for you sissy boys to get wrecked by an SEC schedule. You losers can’t even win the shitty big12.
