When Mason made Vandy a co-ed team was that the final straw?

I know 0-8 but this stunt only looked good with the liberal media.

I think losing to Missouri by 41, being outgained 603 to 185, and being dead last nationally in offense, defense and special teams on top of being winless was probably the last basket of straws.

People don’t realize this Vandy team is probably the worst SEC team of this millennium

That Athletics Chancellor Director President chick probably talked him into the kicker thing knowing she was firing a minority the next day.

Has she been on the team or was this a Necessary Roughness type discovery?

I was all for it until I saw her kick.

WTF??

I'd assumed she had some talent, but turns out this was all just some SJW bullshite charade

then the social media influencers on Twitter started claiming all the sudden "it was a planned squib kick"

can't make this shite up

ETA: "it was a planned squib kick" in the middle of the game

Vanderbilt looked a bit better the last 3 weeks - 2 close losses to State and Kentucky and battled Florida.

Then they reverted to WOAT form and I'm guessing the decision-makers were like "allllllright time to go".

I have no problem with a chick kicking, but she made a squib kick and that was literally it

And they talked about it on SECN all day and even went as far as to say “ignore the score”

It was ridiculous. Mizzou didn’t even get any highlights from their win

“McKenzie: Will ya look at that, they're putting a bloody Sheila on the team!
- Sargie 'Fumblina' Wilkinson: We'll be the laughing stock of college football.
- Charlie Banks: What do you think we are now?”

Yea, I watched the video of her warm-ups. Her range was literally extra point, and even then I'm not sure she'd have gotten it over the line.

It was definitely one big joke. And like you, I'm all for a female kicking if she can kick (and there have been females who could definitely kick, before).

Soy boy sportswriters loved the move... brought them to tears almost as much as news of the Will & Grace revival did.

Before Mason took over in 2014, Commodores were coming off back to back 9-4 seasons in 2012 & 13. With the right offensive HC, you can have an occasional good season there.

Vandy had a chance to get the lead after recovering the football late in the fourth quarter! The game ended 17-12. Was so close to beating Texas A&M.

No. It wasn't.

Nick Saban himself could get a hand up to block her extra points.

She was kicking them from the FOUR yard line!

14 yard kicks!

but it's okay! she's a squib specialist!

It’s amazing how the college football media had such predictable responses to the stunt.

$100 says Fuller gets an ESPY and a Super Bowl ad.

She gave a halftime speech.

quote:

“I just walked in and asked a few people if I could talk, and they said, ‘Yeah, go ahead.’ And then I got everybody’s attention,” Fuller said. “(I told them that) we need to cheer each other on because that’s the only way I’ve seen it work.

“I just used my goalkeeper voice in the (football) locker room.”

Like, what?
