When is the last time your team's AD met with your OC and DC?

Just trying to get a feel for whether we're a tire fire or a full blown dumpster fire at this point. Thanks.

Can you even imagine the response Saban would have?

It would register on the Richter scale and set off NORAD alarms haha.

I wouldn't be surprised if our AD has met with our OC and DC very recently or if he will very soon.

We lost to Troy. Full blown dumpster fire doesn't do us justice. The dumpster has been burned to ashes. We're nothing.

You guys are going to spend so much money on the buyouts and then even more to get the right guy to take over. There is no way he gets another year is there?

I'm thinking you're a tire that is on fire inside of a dumpster which is, itself, on fire.

I wish I could help you with this, but our AD doesn't share his calendar with me. And, now that I think about it, neither does the DC or OC.

It's smart. The dumb part is letting it get out.

For BAMA, it was probably after the Spring of '06. Moore met with Shula and told him staff changes had to be made or he would risk losing his job. Shula refused and Moore went and hire Saban January '07.

Probably when Bear Bryant was both the HC and AD.

It could be good or could be terrible that he met with the OC and DC. If O was the one who chose to bring them in, I can't imagine he would have done that by choice for the bad reasons. The only bad reason for them to be there are bad for him.

This is probably being blown vastly out of proportion.

I have a picture in my mind of the Bama AD telling Saban to show up for a meeting and bring in both coordinators.

So who initiated this meeting?

Given O's comments after the game, I figure he went to the AD and whined about the coordinators not wanting to listen to him. So he begged Aleva to talk to the OC and DC and to please tell them that they had to listen to him.

Wow! Talk about a vote of no confidence in your coach.

The only reason I can think of for such a meeting is to ask the state of the team which should be a question for O not the coordinators.

Or to tell them they weren’t brought in and paid for the kind of results you are getting which is again, O’s job to tell them.

It’s hard to put a positive spin on this.
