When is the last time your team had a loss as embarrassing as losing to Troy at home?

Georgia's 2009 bowl loss to ucf is the worst i can think of, still pales in comparison to troy.

Losing to the team that lost to Troy at home.

We didn't lose, but I'd throw Nicholls in there as an embarrassing win. I don't know wtf that was.

Losing to State by 30 was worse

I mean...
Saban at Bama lost to ULM.

UGA's 43-30 loss on homecoming in 1994 to Vandy comes to mind....

In the 2001 Sugar Bowl, LSU allowed Illinois to score 34 and that was pretty embarrassing.
But not as embarrassing as Chief Illiniwek at halftime.

at least it was in a bowl game. We've had far worse losses in the richt era.

Back when Florida's current HC was severely outcoached by MSU's current Special Teams coach 2016 I believe

that entire season was pretty embarrassing for Richt and UGA. Got drubbed by Miss State and lost to 5-7 Colorado in back to back games.
Loss to Kentucky at home the previous year was pretty embarrassing as well. It's actually quite impressive, however. Basically everyone in the conference has had a "Troy game" the past 10-15 years, but you have to go all the way back to 1996 for UGA when they lost to Southern Miss.

You know they lost by 12 right? And it was a 1 score game to start the 4th. Maybe we have different definitions of drubbing.
Regardless, on the face of it that sounds embarrassing but we had a losing record that year while MSU won 9 games. It really wasn't embarassing at all in context.
The CU game was awful but again, if we're a shitty team with a losing record does it really matter we lost to another shitty team with a losing record?

Troy had a good team... but should not have beaten LSU. However... the UAB loss under saban was worse IMO.

We went on an epic run of not losing to unranked teams at home. It was bound to end some time. Troy played a great game. We were on a down year. shite happens.

consistently losing to LSU in the 90s when they sucked so badly they couldn't even get 40k people into their stadium.

Jacksonville State in 2010. My first game as a student. I was blacked out drunk thinking the game was over, I left at halftime when we had a 31-10 lead. Got woke up in my dorm a few hours later to find out we lost to JSU in double OT. Its the only FCS loss in our programs history.
