When expansion comes back around, where would Georgia Tech be on your list?

A very strong University with a very strong History in Sports.

We might even be able to pluck NC State for you guys.

UNC and Virginia/Virginia Tech are a pipedream for the SEC (due to proximity politics).

Come back down to Earth.

North Carolina State and Georgia Tech would put the "South-East" back into the South-Eastern Conference (SEC).

You mean around WWII?

GT doesn't offer anything. They are second fiddle in their own state.
We already have an Auburn. Why would we need a Georgia Tech?

The SEC is going west. Kansas is next.

VA Tech and NC State adds to footprint, maybe OU if you go that direction. But the SEC is too damn big now. UVA and UNC are full of libtards.

Most of you rag on the 4 additions as not adding anything in the way of winning the big 3 championships and you are pining for NCState and GT?

Be consistent and Clemson and Oklahoma and we will see what you are complaining about 10 years from now.

It's all about media markets. Georgia Tech adds nothing the SEC doesn't already have.

He's an Auburn fan.

He relates to schools that are 2 fiddle in their own state.

Red headed stepchild has to find more of his own kind.

They have become too mid major for the sec. Leaving was a terrible idea.

What's weird to me is that UGA was apparently onboard with the idea of bringing GT back in 1992.

Low. The only reason to expand is to expand the footprint. My top options would be the NC & Virginia schools.

But it really isn't about local media markets.

It's about putting eyeballs on the TV no matter if they're in the NYC,CHI,LA or ATL

Look at Missouri...while St Louis and KC are pretty big media markets, both don't put up strong CFB numbers at all.

they really don't add much. If we want a good school add Virginia, better football team add VT. I doubt expansion will happen though.

Yeah. And you have a losing record to the ACC since 2007.

You are more like an ACC school than an SEC school. We really don't need another Auburn in the SEC.
