When does Will Wade's lack of player development catch up with him in recruiting?

When will all these recruits he pays realize he can't develop them into NBA players and start going elsewhere? He took Naz Reid from a top 20 prospect to undrafted. Tremont Waters is in the G league. This is gonna be Smart's 3rd season and he isn't even on any mock drafts, same with Emmitt Williams.
Trendon Watford would go undrafted if he entered the draft. It's one thing to get top 20 recruits by paying for them but if they continue to not get drafted they are gonna stop coming there.
They could go to somewhere like Kansas, or Arizona, get paid as well and actually get developed into good players who will get drafted in the first round and have long NBA careers.

He has signed a few players that were ranked in the top 30, a couple were top 20. You'd think he would be able to have developed at least one of them into an NBA player.

Naz Reid was starting for the Timberwolves and was playing pretty decent when the games stopped.

He's mediocre as they come. He's never won an NCAA tournament game at LSU. He is inept at coaching defense. He'll never win anything noteworthy because of his defense.

One more time since LSU fan loves posting this gif - Alabama head coach Nate Oats has more NCAA tournament wins than Will Wade since this play and is also 1-1 against LSU head coach Will Wade.

Reid and Waters are both in the G league currently.
