Nah, this goes all the way back to 2008 when they fired Tuberville after losing 1 game to Saban. His offenses sucked, but he always had stellar defenses.

Pretty sure Tuberville resigned because he knew what was coming and he had it easy with Bama playing with one hand behind its back. He knew he couldn’t compete with Saban on the trail nor the field
