When does LSU wear the yellow jerseys?

I started reading a bit about the history of the white vs. purple jerseys in light of the outfits they will be wearing this week.
Learned a lot about the purple and the NCAA, but never got much on when yellow jerseys are worn.

I just wish they wore their purple jerseys more. They look bad arse with the yellow helmets and yellow pants.

When is A&M going to go back to white face masks and get rid of the matte helmets? Those 1998 throwback helmets look so much better than what is currently being worn.

I think we’ve worn them 3 or 4 times, mostly in the mid 90’s and then once a few years ago.
We wore yellow helmets, white jerseys, and solid purple pants against Kentucky in 1995. WOOF!

Correct, Purple and Gold.
Although, 100% yellow is imprecise. Our official gold's RGB is (253,208,35). Which is somewhere between lemon peel and light California gold.

hey, if LSU made it to "the playoff"...Nike does always try to come up with something of "championship level", like a "Tiger Trophy Gold" pantone to be special for just LSU.
