Watching the past two BCS NCG, especially last night it is apparent with the youth playing for Bama, the only way Saban is going to slow down is if he tries to fix his failure in the NFL like Carroll did.

With LSU trending down, Florida is still unproven under Boom, Richt gonna Richt at Georgia, Spurrier is set to find greener golf courses in the near future, and the uncertainty if aggy = OleMiss2008 at this point, is there a danger of SECapathy sweeping CFB as a whole?

The big10 has regressed and the only real threat is Urban now that 2beaz has left Wisconsin.

Kelly has proven he will drop a game he shouldn't at Oregon every year and I don't know that Stanford is a team CFB should be pinning their hopes on.

ND will think they are "still ND" and fire Kelly for "under achieving" in short time after last night's embarrassment.

So that leaves? Stoops? LOL Mack? LOL.

I for one, welcome the arrival of our new Saban overlord.

Did Ole Miss have a Heisman winner and a top 7 recruiting class? Bama at A&M next September may be the only thing in their way to a 3-peat.

Ole Miss went into the Swamp and beat Florida, and was the only team to beat Florida that year, then Florida won the NC.

Everyone was saying Ole Miss was on the rise, gonna win the west under new HC Houston Nutt, Jevan Snead 4 Heisman mania was sweeping Oxford, Nutt signed 38 players in his next recruiting class, etc.

I think all the bama fans should just keep having their circle jerks at the feet of SABAN's statue. I also think the LSU fans should quit being whiners and realize the players dont give a a crap what people say on this site. They are all grown men and will play hard for their university. Everyone will keep bitching but contiue to go to games and spend whatever money that involves. Its just football not life!!

Just like it was this year? The landscape of college football is changing. It may be a while before we see another undefeated NC...Bama will be a contender as long as Saban is there...even with 1 loss...

Why do people keep making this comparison. A&M is head and shoulders above that 2008 Ole Miss team. They may not win the national championship next year, but they're pretty damn good.

It is possible, at this point.

Tell me the similarities are not there between Ole Miss the year they went into the swamp and beat eventual NC Florida and aggy beating eventual NC Bama.

You both blew out a co-big12 champion in the Cotton bowl too, correct?

When you have NFL talent, they tend to go to the NFL. It's just how LSU recruits.

I realize the dumpsterfire wouldn't understand this though.

It's hilarious. The other two links where our #14 ranking and a recap of a 1 point bowl loss.

Dumpsterfire- Not ranked
Dumpsterfire- No bowl

I didn't mention Arkansas, Auburn, or Tennessee as all have new coaches and staffs who have yet to coach a game for their universities.

Arkansas and Auburn are coming of of a bad year.

Tennessee has had a bad half decade.
