Let’s face it Dec 8 2001 changed that program forever. They were on cloud 9 after that victory in the swamp. All those orange roses that were left at the Georgia Dome killed that program. Where would they be if they won that game?

They were good in 2006 and 2007. Beat us in 2005 after trailing 21-0.

They really hit the skids after Richt went to GA and started winning the recruiting battles, then Saban cut them off from AL, that finished them.

Tennessee was not good in 2007. Extremely fluky season with only one meaningful win. Hammered by Florida, Bama and Cal. At least we kept UGA from winning a national title in all likelihood.
2001 SECCG is when it ended without a doubt.
05 South Carolina game is what took us to totally dreadful.
