Didn’t specify if by stats, notoriety or legacy etc.

Be more specific. Could go a lot of ways with that in this thread.

They weren't freshmen the same year.

Bo was the year after Charles.

Wasn’t Dominique and Herschel both freshman the same year? If so, they are the winner and it probably ain’t close.

'Nique was a freshman in '79. Herschel was a freshman in '80.

Damn, they were amazing, though.

Chuck Person and Bo Jackson were freshmen the same year.

That's a pretty solid combo.

Curtis Dickey in football and track. I'm hopelessly biased, as I played against Bryan HS and Curtis Dickey. We rarely touched him, much less tackled him. NCAA champ 60 yard dash (which is no longer a thing) champ 78-80. He was fast, in other words.

But I think Auburn wins this contest hands down with Bo. Makes the '86 Cotton Bowl BoNoGo that much sweeter.

Change thread to title to freshmen duo from any 2 sports. Lots of confusion in this thread.

Bo Jackson by himself would fit the bill as well...

Y’all are all too stupid to know who this person is...but Randy Matson. Dude was decades ahead of his time, and was a freak athlete.
