There would be plenty of empty seats in Fayetteville too.
I went to a Tennessee Tech game in Fayetteville and I can tell you there wouldn't be many. Definitely no where near what Little Rock was like.

I know Arkansas season ticket holders. Nobody wants to travel to Little Rock on a Thursday night for a FAMU game. I'm sure everyone there was a local. It was a dumb idea for the opener.

It was a season opener on a Thursday against a cupcake at War Memorial. I considered driving down 3 hours from NWA, but with it against FA&M I didn't care to make the trip.

It made sense to play in Little Rock years ago before the internet, when most Hogs games were NOT televised to have a game in the most populous area of the state.

The best fans in the state are in the NW, not to mention 28,000 students.

Little Rock games should have been discontinued 10 years ago.

Not a dumb idea when the UofA is going to attempt to get out of the contract after this season. Did it look terrible? Absolutely. In the long run, it helps the program and helps get games out of Little Rock.

Attendance at LR games over the last few years have been bad, real bad. This game should seal the deal.

Oklahoma plays at Ohio State next weekend. Me not confident.
