What’s with the camera angle in the CWS?

It’s directly behind the pitcher so you can’t see home plate

Personally I like being able to see home plate, but to each their own

It doesn't really bother me either way. It just goes to show you that people will complain no matter what.

I’m sure there’s a middle ground, but I’ve personally never seen anyone complain about it being offset too much.

The reasoning is that it's tough to tell where the ball is crossing the plate when it's at too much of an angle.

All you need to know is rocket's slider bounces 2 feet in front of the plate and the ump will call a strike.

I see home plate better with this angle.
