I would assume the people equating the phrase "third world" to any race are the ones that are racist. Not Finebaum.

He called them a lot worse than that back in '92. He should have led off his show with a 15 minute "best of" from back then, and added a "deal with it".

There is a pretty consistent reputation discussions of the Miami fanbase that they are very Hispanic and "city", if not more derogatory. Whether he meant to or not, you could see where calling them a "third world program", a phrase used almost exclusively to describe poor countries (many of them Hispanic in the Western Hemisphere), would be seen as drawing a pretty clear line between the two.
I'm not saying he meant it that way, but you'd have to be blind not to see why some folks might see it as much more than a football dig.

But toxic waste dump is applied across to the board to gross, disgusting places. It's not nice, but it's pretty generally just used as describing a place of no redeeming value (I'm not saying Louisiana is that, but it's not specifically hinting at anything).

I've never understood people that voluntarily choose to tune in to PF and then come here to discuss his shite? I turned that crap off back in '10 and haven't missed a thing.
