What’s the percentage in your mind we have football this year?

I honestly have no idea. At first I thought these reports/claims were false... but there is more and more chatter about this. The devastation these decisions can cause are unthinkable. Small businesses and most people in our region rely on this time of year. Not to mention the crippling lawsuits from players, who signed on to play, and donors who agreed to support.

0%. It’s impossible to have 100+ people (mostly college kids at that) on each team play a full schedule. It’s always been impossible unless the summer wiped the virus out, which it has not.

No College Football on Fall Saturdays for the 1st time in any of our lifetimes.
The result is depression numbers will most definitely go up.

That being said, I do believe NFL will happen. It’s easier to threaten their paycheck than it is to tell a college kid not to party or to get pussy.

What information do you have that proves your statement?

This is why the money in college sports needs to go away, because we wouldn't be having these problems if it didn't exist. We should be thinking safety first, but instead people are worried about contracts and money.

80%. There was college football played in 1918 during the Spanish Flu and WW1. We're not even in a world war so I can't think of a good reason not to play this season

Many schools played only three or four games in 1918. The virus and the war took its toll.

Not surprisingly the yankees from Misery did not play in 1918

You cant be concerned for safety, whether with merit or not, and also continue with the season. There are just too many variables that they never thought about and now that they are trying to operationalize they are seeing just how stupid it is to try.
I would open it up with zero restrictions, but this isnt about what I think.

Not to mention venues were drastically smaller back then.

Several teams played a full schedule. Besides, if they can play 4 games during a world war and a pandemic, that means we should be able to play 8 games since we only have to worry about a pandemic

America consists of quite a bit more pussies than it had in those days.

Zero chance they start the season and finish it. I could see them going 3/4 weeks. No way the Progressive Ruling Class lets Red State Americans enjoy college football.

Most people are betting on the cowardice of administrators. I don't think that the SEC will cancel the season before it starts.
