If Oates & Pearl are good friends & Oates' knock on Wade is that Wade is so dirty....last I read Pearl has gotten 3 different schools on probation??????? Coach K, 2 of his former schools on probation & wins & monies pulled. etc etc etc

(a) I don't think Oats and Pearl are "good friends". I do think they are professionally respectful of each other and appreciate how the other's team plays
(b) While I don't really give a shite about Wade's NCAA stuff (or think/care if it's true or not), they are pretty different accusations/occurrences. Wade's are buying players (allegedly). Pearl's are having illegal contact and lying about it and then literally paying kids to leave and go to the NBA.

I don’t know any specific examples of this, though I’m certainly not positive. As I have said I do think a lot of coaches, basketball writers/announcers are pissed at Wade for being stupid enough to be caught on tape saying what he said.

Love how you put Pearl in there. 2019 was the last time Auburn finished ahead of LSU in recruiting, and we were 20th. All those hit pieces from vendetta whores corrupting your mind? Pearl is a name that recruits itself, and it took him a long time at Auburn. Wade and Oats buy anybody they can get, and the end result shows it.

Interesting story, thanks for sharing. I love hearing these inside stories. So in your opinion is the Watford episode the reason Oats has decided to dominate Wade so thoroughly on the court? Or are there other reasons behind why Oats has made Wade his bitch?

I think it goes deeper than just Oats and Wade. It seems like in general the assistants really dislike each other, especially Pettway and Bill Armstrong. That coupled with the massive shite talking centered around Watford just made it heated.
