Calling a mascot racist is equivalent to being called chicken when you were a kid. It's bullshite designed to drive behavior.
Ole Miss are the Rebels. Anything else has been ridiculous.

I really wish we would just drop the whole onfield mascot thing completely. We are and always will be the Rebels and there is no mascot that would properly represent that. There's no point in having it anyway.

I thought the bear was pretty good. I wish we would have gone the route of a live bear enclosure/habitat near somewhere on campus.

If we would have gotten a live bear I would have been much more accepting of that option.
We should drop Tony the Landshark and just get a tank of sharks in the north endzone. We can put it where the student section is since they don't come to the games anyway.

Bruh, the shark is GRAY. I know, I know, it's probably low-key to honor the confederacy in some way, but at least it isn't obvious. Gray is the least offensive color for any mascot.
