The internet happened. But there is no denying he was a pioneer in the area of college football recruiting.
Admittedly he wasn't the greatest at talent evaluation as many of his "can't miss" studs turned out to be busts or disappointing players, while 2-star players like Siran Stacy ended up making it big in college ball.
