What will Saban do?

I won't presume to predict how much longer he will remain coaching at Bama. My question is if he retires and leaves without croaking on the sidelines, will he be pulling for Bama to be successful? I figure that if he hand picks his successor, he will have a vested interest with his reputation somewhat on the line and pull for that guy. However, if Bama doesn't choose who he wants, will he pull for Bama to flounder thereby making his accomplishments that much more impressive?

He's a mercenary who is only going to stay at Bama for 3-4 years, so probably not

You will never hear another word from him if he retires. He hates the media already.

Do you guys not even think of how stupid you look when you type something like this.

Why does it matter who he pulls for?

I honestly don't think he cares either way how it does. He's good because he's focused on what is in front of him, and nothing else. To control what he can and not worry with shite he can't control. He's not the type of person to ever feel satisfied. So, I think when the day comes 5-10-15 years down the road when he retires all he'll think about are the wins that got away.
but that's just my two cents

BAW, Saban left your university way back in 2004. It's time to get over it.

Nick chose the right Reverend to be his successor at L8U. That should tell you how much he loved you people.
Considering his tenure at Bama and at how much he has professed to love beating LSU, I think he'll suggest a legit candidate to replace him this time.
