What we learned yesterday.

Auburn DL are some bad motherfrickers.
Tennessee has a lot of work to do.
Tua may be for real. I mean like, for real.
Stidham is probably the best returning starter from last year.
Florida is well coached again. I think.
Arkansas is bad but not as bad as they were.
Georgia is stacked. Ridiculous.
Ole Miss is motivated and playing for each other.
State looks like a " good" football team.
Saban needs to lighten up on the press.
It was just week one so everything I said is irrelevant for now except for the barn DL and Tua.
I expect LSU to win tonight.
This was a serious thread, not a troll but take with a grain of salt

Did you get banned from the Bama Board? I don’t think I’ve ever seen you start a thread on the Rant.

I know we played Thursday, but I’m sad you left us out

Why are we bad? I know you watched the game so please fill me in

I wouldn't say bad. Id say thin and better than last year. It might not show on the final record, but huge improvements have already been shown. Still have a long way to get to the top though.

I don't think we're good but what about yesterday's game showed we are bad?

Nope. I been posting there all day.

True. But if we are nitpicking, I would like to see a better pass rush from the edge.
Marlon Davidson is a badass, experienced, and healthy again this year, but he's so big I'm not sure he has the speed burst to get around good tackles. Edge wise, the best I saw yesterday was Big Kat Bryant, but he is young and raw. His best rush resulted in a big 3rd down conversion when he left his feet and the QB ran right by him. He will emerge as our pass rusher I believe though.
Nobody is running on that front though.

You looked slow on defense imo and that is gonna hurt. I should have just listed you guys as improved. I like you guys and hope I eat crow. Good luck.

Only one that looked slow was Calloway due to peeking in the backfield. Forced 5 turnovers so big improvement in being around the ball

I was really impressed by Ole Miss. They really look like they have bought into their coach and are playing very inspired. May have a decent year.
Also Auburn is as equally bad at Oline as they are good at DLine

Auburn's O managed over 400 yards against a team returning 9 starters from a top 5 D last season. They also returned their 2 all conference/all American DL's. The OL is our weak spot, but it is a weak spot that could cost this team a championship or playoff shot. Not a weakness that would make them a 8 win team.
Auburn gave up 3 negative plays yesterday. One running and two sacks. Both sacks were on Stidham.

Dude, I hope you guys win six or seven games and it is possible. Your staff needs to get into Texas and Louisiana for blue chip recruits and keep your instate guys instate. Arkansas is a hard job to win nine or ten games at but Morris looks capable if he can recruit. At least you were more aggressive on defense.

If it makes my explanation any better, I think Auburn has an amazing DLine. The Oline is the glaring weakness. Qb looked like he never had time...but I have mentions a hundred times on many post, Oline is the group that takes the most time to gel. They will get better.

Glad to have JB Grimes back as O-Line coach. You're correct sir, they most definitely will get better. He is one of the best in the biz. Herb Hand pissed me off to no end last year.

I see LSU having some OLine troubles tonight. Hope it heals up fast.

I actually think every sentence was fair.
