For me, I went to an LSU-Miss. FB game in TS the early 90s at ~5 yrs old; I remember thinking, "Why would someone name a team Old Mist?" Guess it's good that I don't remember more if it was during the Hallman era

I’ve got vague vague memories of going to Carolina games in the mid to late 90s. Including games vs Arkansas and UK during that 1-21 stretch.

Not sure why I remember those games specifically. Don’t remember anything about the actual game. Just going.

Same goes for basketball games in the old Coliseum.

I think that was vs Mississippi in 2004, we barely won but he set the single-game rushing record, that Guice broke against aTm in 2016

The 2003 Auburn-Vanderbilt game in Nashville. I was suited up in Auburn gear

The reason? I liked their colors.

My earliest SEC memory was when Hank Campbell stopped the Tennessee player at the goal line to beat the Vols in 92. I was 7 at the time and went with my grandparents who sat in the West Lower Deck, section 8, right where it happened.

My earliest college sports memory was Laettner’s shot against Kentucky.

Honestly?

The earliest memory is my mom crying when she entered the car because she had just heard that Coach Bryant had passed away. It stood out because we had a picture on the mantle of him holding my older brother. Not sure if that counts for your question though.

The very first football game I can remember is Vince Dooley beating his brother and North Carolina in the Gator bowl. At that time it was the first time brothers met as head coaches in college football I believe

I have a UT relative who swears that UGA got away with a blatant hold on the TD. Twas well before my time, but I always thought, "Well maybe you shouldn't have muffed the punt?? " I think that's why they were so excited about beating y'all in the Sugar bowl
