Was it something to actually be mad at, or grasping at straws like other teams fans do?

I won't name any flagships.

ETA: Nobody saw that.

It was obvious.

Not sure if you're answering the question vaguely or saying I should have noticed it.

If the latter, I couldn't watch until the 9th inning. Work and all that.

Even the USC posters said we were robbed. SS trapped a ball. It was very obvious. But there's no official replay so what can you do?

I was answering your question. It was a real mess up. Very clear on replay.

Lol it was the Left Fielder who trapped a line drive that would have scored 2 to put State up 5-0 and they would have had men on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs. MSU deserved to win in a runaway totally outplayed SC which is par the norm in Hoover.

Ain't that the damn truth.

Honestly, if we were to win that frickin' tourney I would be pissed because our season would be over.

What we are doing right now is what we always do in Hoover, for whatever reason I do not know but it has become tradition and I'm fine with it. Let's just get home and get ready for the regionals while everyone else is still in Hoover. That's what we always do.

New coach and a possible national seed if you blow through the tournament. Not buying it

You're so naive. If we have any chance at progressing through the CWS, we're doing the best possible thing right now.

Bases loaded, 2 out. Line drive to LF and ump called it out. I was sitting 4 rows up just past 3rd. I actually thought he caught it but I immediately got texts from 3 different people watching at home that said replay clearly showed trap. It cost at least 2. Never know what have happened after that. We were seeing Belcher pretty well at the time

That would be you. The best way to get to the CWS is to be a national seed. You can't do that laying down at Hoover.

We've done it the past three years. We haven't won more than 2 games in Hoover since 2007.

Care to remind me what Super Regional we were at in 2010?

You are confusing Ray Tanner's teams with this one. This one is not the same.

To me, their failure to acknowledge this feels an awful lot like the "no change from Bertman to Smoke" pattern we heard the last time a transcendent coach(which Tanner was) moved into an athletics director chair in the SEC...

Honestly, I think we didn't have much of a shot of a national seed after we dropped two of three to you last weekend. But still, we absolutely suck in Hoover.
