Why is it so hard to grasp the concept that sometimes freshman and sophomores take a few years to develop and sit behind more experienced players?

Dude, 3 years he's had and at the beginning of this year he looked even worse than year 2 and that was against cupcakes.

Scottie Wilbekin only averaged 2.6 points as a sophomore. We obviously should have processed him.

You're talking about a PG who still didnt score this year either. Going into this year Wilbekin as a PG was smart with the basketball having a better than 2:1 AST:TO and shot the 3 smart and very well. Comparing Wilbekin to Cox is just plain dumb. Wilbekin was a much better player than Cox before this year, this year and forever will be way better from here on out.

Scottie Wilbekin plays on a very talented team so sitting doesn't strike me as odd. OM is not Florida from a talent standpoint. Your analogy is flawed.

The fact that Ole Miss had some young posts sitting behind two very experienced posts doesn't strike me as odd either.

On a scale of 1-10 how badly do you want someone in this thread to pay attention to you?

For UH a 252.25

So a junior is a younger player now?

Hard to tell about Arkansas next year, not sure what the roster will look like, but year 3 is the year Anderson has always took off, I guess you could say. If Powell returns like alot of people are saying, we'll have a great inside group. It will still be pretty good even if he leaves.

I'm thinking our roster looks something like this.

G - Rashad Madden
G - Mardracus Wade
G - Kikko Haydar(Walk-on)
G - Fred Gulley(Walk-on)
G - Jamal Jones(#5 JUCO in the Nation)
G - Anthlon Bell
G/F - Michael Qualls
F - Coty Clarke
F - Marshawn Powell
F - Alandise Harris(Houston transfer, All C-USA player)
F - JaCorey Williams
C - Bobby Portis
C - Moses Kingsley

You can probably add another JUCO or Prep guard to that.

He was hurt this season.

He did get rotational minutes last season. Not many, but he did play.

Not arguing anything, honestly just curious where you're getting your JUCO rankings from. The recruiting main sites dont have any (Rivals, Scout, 247).

Okay so a fourth year player next year is going to be a young player? He's super duper talented, but somehow they've kept him off the court prior to any injury problems because they just were so talented for the last few years at OM.

Do I have it right?

You realize he went further down the depth chart behind a younger guy, right?

He didn't play much his freshman season; he obviously wasn't ready. He played rotational minutes as a sophomore and looked promising in backup duty. He got hurt as a junior and didn't play at all for most of the season.

No, he's not a young player anymore. If he's healthy and doesn't produce next season, then he's never going to do anything. But if he's healthy, I at least expect him to contribute.

And shut the frick up with all of your hyperbolic shite. I never said I expected Ole Miss to have a dominant frontcourt or that I expect Cox to come in and be an All-SEC player. I do expect that Ole Miss' frontcourt will be able to rebound and defend pretty well, but their guards are going to have to step up and help soften the blow of losing most of their offensive production down low.

They won't be as good as they were this season. But they're not going to be bad. Kennedy hasn't had a "bad" team in a while. I expect them to be mediocre and a fringe bubble team, like most of his teams.

Kentucky, Bama, Arkansas, Tennessee, LSU, Mizzou, Florida, and Vandy.

Can't argue with that list.

UK - All-world class makes it likely, but so many freshmen.
UF - My lock to make it.
MU - Likely but not completely sold yet.
UT - Needs to start the way they finish.
LSU - If JOB stays.
Bama - Win those OOC games and they're in.
Arky - Win some road games and they can make it.
Vandy - Big hit last year losing players. They'll compete again.

OM - Not sure who all you lose.
UGA - If KCP returns, they could be a dark horse.
USC - Martin will get you there, maybe 1 year away still.
A&M - Showed flashes this year but not quite there.
AUB - Has some work to do. May start with the coach.
MSU - Still rebuilding. Need to get a complete roster.

Kentucky
Florida
Bama
Tennessee

all should make it

It wouldn't surprise me if Vandy, Arkansas, or maybe LSU made it.

It's still early though. Trevor Releford could decide that he wants to see what the Israeli league is like.

Has there been any talk about McRae thinking about leaving early? I would be pretty surprised if he was thought of as a first round guy at this point.

Word is KCP is leaning towards coming back and UCLA's Tony Parker maybe transferring.
Also Parker may not have to sit a year our since UCLA might get hit with recruiting infractions
