Ole Miss loses 3 starters including their best player. Henderson is going to stick out like a sore thumb next year on a team that will be lucky to go break even in SEC play. I could see him chucking it up as badly as he did in the NCAAT on average next season. Ole Miss is bringing in nobody of note.

Well, duh.

Their backcourt will remain intact. They'll still have Summers and White, as well as Henderson (if he does return). They lose Williams, but his production will be fairly easily replaced.

The two bigs will be tough to replace, obviously. But their backups have shown some promise, imo. Jones was playing a lot of minutes before he got hurt, and he's a pretty good shot blocker. Brutus physically is a Holloway clone. Perez is explosive and skilled. He'll be a solid combo forward with a summer of weight training. Cox has been a solid offensive player whenever he's been healthy.

I think they'll be solid. Not as good as this season, but still good enough to win around 20 games and be somewhat on the bubble.

Kentucky, Florida, LSU, Alabama, Arkansas all make the NCAAT with a few wildcards in Missouri, Tennessee and maybe even Vandy.

Tennessee will be a helluva lot better than LSU.

Tennessee was better this season. They both return the majority of their roster (LSU loses Carmouche, Tennessee loses McBee and Hall). Tennessee brings in Hubbs and Maymon. LSU brings in Martin, Mickey, Quarterman, and Odo.

Advantage - Tennessee.

Too early.

Pressey could leave Mizzou, JOB could leave LSU, Young/Powell could leave Ark, and I'm sure there are a few others.

And on top of that recruiting isn't over yet either.

If Alabama dosen't make the NCAA's next year with practically everyone coming back, then somethin ain't right.

I'm a huge LSU fan but can't see how most LSU fans consider us a "lock" for the tourney.

JOB is almost 100% gone.

This team didnt make the NIT

Lets make that tourney first then worry about the NCAA

I listed Tennessee as a wildcard because we dont know what Stokes or McRae are doing yet. If they both leave, Tennessee is not a NCAAT team IMO.

And no SEC team will be a "helluva lot better than LSU" next year except Kentucky which they will just be a helluva lot better than everyone (in the nation). LSU will be the most improved team in the conference next year by a bunch, the recruiting class is sick and we are only losing 1 good player.

Everything has said the exact opposite, plus, he is NOT considered a draft pick by anyone.

Only if UGA wins the SECT but he's long gone anyways.

Who knows about JOB. Despite what you say, you don't know. Neither do I. My guess is he leaves, even though he won't be drafted. Just a guess though.

But the idea that we have to make the NIT first to make the NCAA tourney is completely ridiculous and unsupported by many teams each year.

JOB is most likely coming back next year. I have heard that he likes where the program is heading and he thinks next year could be something special if he stays.

JOB could leave also. Why didn't you mention that?

Your recruiting class is good and has a lot of potential.

If you think that it's going to give you immediate national success, then you're going to be very disappointed.

But we went 6-10 in the conference this year and didn't even make the NIT. Let's make that first before thinking about the NCAAT. = Circa 2008 prior to 2009 SEC Championship team

My point is that a lot of people are ready to crown JJ as our savior but I'm not there yet. The recruiting is promising but we don't know how good these kids are gonna be

How'd all these 5 stars do
