What team that is under the radar has a legit shot at making some noise?

Maybe get 9 or 10 wins and a really good bowl, maybe even NY^? Or even sneak in and win the division?

I'm going to say Mizzou - they finished really strong last year and have a really explosive offense - maybe one of the best QBs in the country

Nobody is talking about them, other than to mock Dooley as an OC

But this is a team that can do some real damage this year IF they get even halfway decent play from the defense

If their defense has a pulse, they’ll be good. But I have no reason to assume that it will based off last year.

how are they under the radar?

seems that everyone has picked them to finish 2nd in the East and maybe even challenge UGA for the top spot?

Id say, possibly A&M.

They are for sure under the radar with how many moves they have made. I really haven't heard much about them to think about it. They could be a surprise. Id definitely hope so if I were an Aggy fan.

I think LSU could be really good, but they also could fall apart very fast. As an Arkansas fan, I hope it is the second. It would be nice to beat LSU again.

Arkansas wont be at 9-10, but I think we are very under the radar because people think this system will take a while to be good. We should be good for the simple fact of making our players faster and more aggressive play calling. Something that most teams are forgetting. I mean look at how little we used to rush. Things are changing and I am excited.

Florida could be good, I will say that I am excited for that Florida MSU game because it will answer a lot of questions pretty quickly for those two teams (I believe the game is week 5.

Also, damn, Florida has a pretty tough schedule, this might not be good for Mullen.

I still need to look into more teams, but I dont think anything is a given this season. Too many unknown questions.

I think its perfect timing for that game. Week 5 should have those teams playing good football.

Missouri or A&M . Besides Georgia no one in the east is unbeatable for Missouri. A&M has upgraded at the coaching staff and they have had good talent .

I am probably the only person who thinks this, but I think Tennessee will surprise a lot of people this season.

Save for his last recruiting class, Jones brought in a lot of talent to the Tennessee roster.

If Pruitt can be successful as a head coach, I think he will turn it around very quickly.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Tennessee sneak in and win the East, or finish 2nd.

They have accumulated a lot of talent the last few years, they just lacked a coach. If Pruitt can be successful, they can surprise everyone this season

I would go with Mizzou, I think their defense will be improved and they have a ton of offensive weapons. I'm just a bit leery about going all in on them until I've seen Dooley coach a few games as their OC.

If he can handle the play calling just fine (he doesn't even have to be great with what they have coming back) then Missouri can absolutely make a run at the East.

If I had to pick one team in the West that could surprise a lot of folks I'd go with A&M. Without Rumlin and his amazing ability to have his teams fall apart completely down the stretch they could be in position to have a very solid season.

Mizzou. I am predicting Mizzou to surprise and win the east. Mizzou will be a top 10 team.

You have the favorites, Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia. Then the might could complete, State and Scar. Then anyone else winning 9 games would be a surprise.

Do they have a new DC? New players? If not, then I’m pretty confident in that prediction.

I actually agree. You probably are the only person that thinks that.

Not really. His last 4 recruiting clases were ranked:
2018-20
2017-17
2016-14
2015-4
So his classes that are still on campus were pretty pedestrian, at best. I mean, the #4 class was great. but it fell off after that. I realize that that #20 class was technically Pruitt's, but Butch started the recruiting, and Pruitt had to deal with what was left.

You are right. It would be a huge surprise.....to me, at least. I think Pruitt is going to have to go to work after this season. Reform the mindset at Tennessee, and bring in a good class. For a first time head coach, Pruitt has his work cut out for him.

I agree with every single word you said in this post. Should I be worried, or should you?
