I want to know what programs were or are going hurt now, it’s literally benefitted every program in our state, and of the list of schools it’s hurting, how did the pre nil help them? I’m just not following this “college football is ruined now” line that gets thrown around, hell in the sec, nil will improve Arkansas, Tennessee, Auburn, lsu once they start giving more nil deals, us, ole miss, maybe even Missouri

And that’s a bad thing? To be honest, I think that in state recruiting will start to be locked down more, Texas schools might be able to keep talent that used to leave the state

A&M will continue remain in the 2-4 spots of the SEC West. Atlanta is reserved for Alabama, LSU, and Auburn. Nothing will change for A&M because you purchased the top recruiting class in the country. What A&M did isn’t even illegal under the current terms so nobody can fault the program for dishing out the money, but you’re not winning the west anytime soon.

What I want has nothing to do with it. I want A&M to lose every game they play and leave the SEC. That said, I did say that what A&M did is legal and nobody can fault them for what they did. A&M will remain in the middle of the SEC West because that's just what they do. Jimbo isn't a great coach and everybody knows that. As for winning the west, in this century, Alabama has done it 9 times, LSU 6 times, Auburn 5 times, and Arkansas 2 times. The last time one of those 4 teams didn't win in was in 1998.

It’s pretty pathetic. He loses to two former assistants and only gets 2nd in recruiting. OMG, the horror.

And starts crying like a Karen.

It’s a really bad look and he really messed up. Especially with the HBCU comments and the audacity to state he didn’t buy one recruit. It’s going to hurt him in recruiting a lot more than NIL. His statements are going to be used against him by several schools. LSU will be for certain.

In what way? You really think any of this will hurt him in recruiting?

I think that's wishful thinking in the extreme.

Yes, I’m already hearing it in the HS and college football circles.

I shouldn’t have to explain how this will be used against him or how several coaches and schools did not like what he stated. He crossed a line he should have never crossed. Are you that obtuse?

that’s what he knows, along with everyone else who doesn’t live in College Station. This recruiting class is the next item in a long line of fool’s gold that’s given A&M fans false hope before you actually have to get on the field and prove it

Well then you are dumb. A&M has immense capacity. They have an alumni that is rabid and fills stadiums when they lose and it’s impossible to get seats when they have a marginal season.

They spend millions of dollars on football. Every year. And now, they are buying top classes through legal methods.

They beat Bama last year with a backup QB.

If you truly think that’s not a threat. You are dumb.

Will they win it all? Maybe not. Will they be good enough to beat your arse on a regular basis? Probably, unless things change quickly.

We won’t play with a backup QB all season this year, chief.

You seem to forget that you lost to LSU who played with 38 scholarship players, and most of them were 2nd and 3rd stringers.

Congrats. You’ll probably beat us this year. I wouldn’t worry about us at all.

Quite possibly the worst coaching job ever.

Johnson is serviceable and will be a good QB for some games but by the time we get to you both our 5 star QBs will be options to play.

Johnson will get a shot, but he will be pulled quickly if he isn’t in top form as we have two legitimate replacements. One that might even beat him out of the starting position to begin with.

I honestly think he’s QB2.
