They seem to be the first school hiring, and can never lock down a legit hire. It seems like a good job. They provide needed resources. I know they will never win the SEC, but 8-10 wins will suffice. Admins that bad?

Their location. The best in Arkansas want to go play for Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, or LSU. They just don’t have the recruiting advantage.

We haven't gotten a decent hire? Where are you dummies coming from? We literally had one bad hire in recent years and we didn't have an AD.

That doesnt make it a "bad" job tho. They will pay 4 MM per year. Life changing money. Something else turns people away.

The area is not a prolific producer of talent and it sucks to try to recruit kids there. Not much to offer them. Hence it's not a good coaches first choice.

Bert ended up bad but it wasn't a bad hire to grab a successful P5 head coach. Stop.
