it could be worse, like lsu from 1958-2003.

Saban is great at ending long title droughts.

LSU claims four national championships, in 1958, 2003, 2007, and 2019.

Yes, I know. So, therefore, LSU won 2 national titles from 1958-2003.

Lol you're being technical but I originally thought that poster probably was referring to decades long gap between titles.

But I will score this one.

Auburn beat Alabama a few times with Gene Chizik and Gus Malzahn, too. Who gives a shite? Mullen is a fraudulent bum.

Seeing as we played them tough the first two times then finally won it I’d disagree. Doesn’t mean we won’t lose our required random game to Kentucky or Mizzou per Mullens curse

Mullens had a small window of opportunity this year...sat his best player in a must win game against LSU. Also several 4 and shorts that could have sealed game against A&M. Mullens exactly what we think he is.

Because regressing to their mean for Alabama means winning 1 national title and 2 SEC titles per decade.

I can answer with one word. History.

Check the statues in front of Bryant Denny. Georgia has no history. Alabama might be down for awhile, but they find the right man, and they come back to prominence.

The fact that there’s not a curse hovering over the state of Alabama ensuring that every sports team from the state suffers nothing but heartache nearly every year; being good, but rarely great, and getting just close enough to give everyone a sliver hope, even after they have sworn off all hope, only for it all to come crashing down upon their heads.

But frick that curse. I still have 1995 and it can’t take that from me.
