Do you think he can turn things around year 1?

He's better than you've had...however, he is limited by his QB and OL depth it seems

Travis Gregory Stano thinks he will struggle. TGS knows his shite, so that is enough for me.

pretty much this. also, LSU has 5 SEC road games this year, and has a 8 week stretch of @ Florida, vs AU, @ Ole Miss, bye, @ Bama, vs Arky, @ Tennesee, vs TAMU. That's a pretty rugged stretch.

I had never heard of him before he was hired by Orgeron.

If Orgeron will leave him alone (I have my doubts) he can't be worse that what they've had since Saban.

I think LSU will goin through some growing pains in year 1. Still see them winning 9-10 games. It's understated how hard it is to come in an implement an offense. He will be even better in year 2. LSU needs to do all they can to keep him from taking a HC position elsewhere, cause AD's will be calling with even a decent year where a slight increase in production is evident.

I think his offense will dominate weaker opponents, but really struggle due to QB limitations and an average offensive line against the top defenses lsu plays.

Interesting you say that, because this year he should be much better setup than next year overall. Will lose Senior QB, Guice, 2 senior WRs, senior LT, likely best OLineman in Clapp going into next year.

What he did with Pitt in 1 year was pretty remarkable, and honestly we kind of have a similar setup for him here with a senior QB, great RB & good OL.

Sure hope so. Think we will get better and better over the next three seasons.

I don't think he'll be your OC for the next 3 seasons.

I've heard that that his offense at LSU will be much more complex than what he was running at Pitt. A friend of mine is a GA on the staff and I've been told that it is a huge improvement on previous schemes. However, it will more than likely take a couple of games for the players to gel under a new offense. It will help that y'all have two warmup games before SEC play.

The problem I see with that...........your senior QB isn't very good.

I don't think we will know how good Canada is until LSU gets a playmaking QB.

I was able to catch Pitt a couple of times last year. That was a fun O to watch, but they had a pretty solid QB.

Well, we do actually have a history with him running his own program at Ole Miss.

He's done it before or are you too stupid to remember?

Hes awesome. Will be a HC soon, but Etling sucks so he is going to have some issues in yr 1.

Y'all still got that random qb transfer from Purdue? Doubtful he can pull it off with him.
