What is the vibe on DVH among Arkansas fans?

I get how this may seem like a troll, but I really am sincere in this question.
With the resources and the amount of great regular seasons he has had there, is he at least being questioned by the locals why he seems to never get the postseason right?

He’s one of the main reasons we have the support and facilities we have. He’s a damn good coach. One game doesn’t change that.
Post season is not a gimme for any coach or team. The strongest team last year didn’t make Omaha.

No, I think it’s baseball and other teams have something to do with how it turns out.
With the attrition we had this year this team probably shouldn’t have made it this far. That’s probably why they voted him coach of the year.

It’s extremely hard to win the CWS. The teams that make the CWS aren’t necessarily the “best” teams they are just the hottest. Look at Ole Miss last year.

College baseball playoffs are, more or less, a crapshoot. There is a reason MLB playoffs consist of 5-7 game series. You cannot reliably determine the best team in a single- or double-elimination tournament.
IMO a college baseball coach should be judged on the number of CWS appearances, and Van Horn stacks up very well there.
Do you really think Ole Miss and MSU both have better staffs? They won it all the past two years...

You can try to throw shade but DVH is inarguably one of the best coaches of the last 20 years.
