For Georgia it is a lack of a pass rush without having to blitz. Yesterday Vandy was able to make some plays with their passing game. Their qb had time to scan the field and he made some plays against us. We have to get pressure with our front. Not having Trent was a factor but we must get better at rushing the passer. While Missouri is not good they do throw it 40 times a game. Lock is good enough to make plays in the passing game. As far as passers go, after Missouri, we face Bentley and Stidham who are better passers than anyone we have played so far. If we allow them to stand firm and survey the field, we will have some problems stopping them. Auburn is far more dangerous than S.Carolina. The best and most balanced offense we will see this year. Anyway. We need to improve our pass rush. What about your team?

After yesterday, it's the secondary. Supposed to be possibly the strongest unit on the team but our safeties couldn't cover a sloth last night with the coverage they had.

Injuries.

Two best running backs are banged up. 2nd best linebacker banged up. Two guys in the secondary are banged up. Offensive lineman is banged up.

Can’t lose too many more guys now that competition is about to ramp up.

Trent, Patrick, Carter all out yesterday. Despite that we held them below there average per game passing while completely shutting down their run game. It took a fumble on our 1 and 4 plays from them to break double digits.

When Trent returns we will be alright.

My biggest concern is our passing game. We will have games where we need to throw it 25 times and game 250 yards. Can we do it?

Age.

Young OL
Young QB
Young WR

We're very limited in how much of the playbook we use. Gotta keep it simple enough for a true freshman QB against SEC defenses.

Alabama is
1) accumulating a lot of injuries on the defensive side.
2) still not seeing much progression of Hurts skills in the pocket and accuracy downfield.
