What is the absolute craziest thing that could happen in a football game?

For me it would be punting on first down from the opponents 1 inch line.

Making it to the title game and not crossing the 50

Kick Six
I remember that day as if it were yesterday. I must have watched it like ten times throughout the night on Youtube. It was a magical moment, as I also somewhat remembering I had a few beers that same night. When Chris Davis did what he did I was like, "On no he didn't."

Already mentioned, but to go into further detail:
- Tie game.
- Time runs out, we’re heading to OT.
- Coach throws temper tantrum demanding one second.
- Review, one second added back.
- Field goal attempt for the win!
- Kick is short.
- Opponent catches it at the very back of the endzone.
- There goes Davis.
- 109 yard return for the win.
ETA:
- Everyone laughs hysterically.

Well the Falcons lost a game vs the chiefs by one when they were trying to go for two to go up by 3 and instead Eric Berry ran it back 100 yards for the go ahead 2 point pick “six”.

Scoring against Bama in consecutive years.

If they were up by 3 how were 2 points the go ahead? I don’t know what game you are talking about so I’m just confused.

Byrd’s catch back of end zone when we could have kicked a FG vs Auburn is way up there for me. Just ridiculous. Never had that kind of roller coaster of emotions since, really.

Not covering a WR twice in one game

Yeah, it was crazy he didn't get called for offensive PI

4th and 25, then the Running back loses the ball only for it to go out of bounds, then the qback gets sacked, but it was a penalty so another chance... then the qb runs the ball in for the TD from a fair distance away.
Yep, seen it with my own eyes.

A 1 point safety is the rarest scoring play in football, so I'll go with that.

That would be CRAZY! How’s this though:
- team winning late but opponent is driving
- opponent throws int with seconds left on clock
- team celebrates by Gatorade bathing their coach to celebrate their 2nd place finish in division
- officials review and determine QB was down before int
- opponent throws TD with seconds left to force OT
- team’s coach is forced to coach OT while drenched from Gatorade bath
- team loses in OT to become only losing team in history to give their coach a Gatorade bath (and did so in an ultimately meaningless game)

In the Capital One Bowl at the end of 2010, Michigan State had to punt to Alabama on 4th and goal.
