Historically is it The Saints because of Archie? Giants because of Eli?

Modern times is it Dallas because of Dak?

Atlanta?

If you’ve been to the super dome then you’ve seen as many Mississippi license plates as you have Louisiana plates. That has always stood out to me.

Saints of course and Dallas because of Dak, yes.

Saints will always dominate the state (except for the northern parts)

That's true. I mean, I actively root for the Falcons, but I also hate them as much as they hate me.

Saints because of proximity, and also Drew Brees and Deuce. I never met anyone who didn't like Deuce - not even MSU fans. If you DO know somebody like this, they are clearly devil worshipers.

I still have my authentic Deuce jersey. It's 2 sizes too big now, but I will never let it go.

Born here, moved away as a teen, moved back right out of college (12 years ago now I guess).

So mid-eighties to the Olympics and then late 2000s through today.

I would expect the Saints and then the Titans following.

I’m an LSU fan and I like Deuce. Hate Ole Miss though. Gotta imagine most of MS are Saints fans.

Rough generalization:
The southern half of the state are Saints fans. The Saints even did some pre-season practice in the Jackson area a few years ago.

The northern half, especially in the northwest corner tends to be Titans fans.

That being said, there are random pockets of fans who have secondary teams, such as the Cowboys (Americas team & Dak), Giants (via Eli), and even the Packers (via Favre), but as Eli and Favre don't play anymore, those pockets are dwindling down to the people who cared about those players when they actually played.
