Call it "Big24" or "Big two by four!", "South by 24"?
No one would be derided for not playing defense.
Could play all season games "in-conference".
Four divisions, North, South, East & West
Tamu & Texas would HAVE to play each other.
Kansas & Vandy annual contest would be called "The Powder Puff Rivalry"
The conference could restrict all the major networks from carrying ACC & B10 games, no reason to restrict PaC12 coverage since no one watches anyway.
What else...?

You’d still lose to Clemson in the NC game on even years...

A merger of the Big 12 and Pac 12 is far more likely with a few teams from each conference left behind.

Big 12 will crumble sooner than later. And when this happens I expect PAC, SEC, and B10 to pick up some schools.

Texas and the Pac deserve each other, just like Iowa state and kansas to the B10

Pac - Texas and OU

AAC - TT

SEC - Okie state, baylor, WVU and TCU

B10 - ku, kstate, and iowa state

Are you trying to downgrade our conference's academic profile to third world?

Okie state is a good balance of both basketball and football.

Baylor is like #1 in college basketball preseason

WVU everyone around here keeps saying they want.

TCU tv markets

OU and texas is a package deal, and Im not sure texas would rather the SEC than Pac

Honey, UTex wants no part of the SEC.
Too many cisgender, unintelligent, conservative, hayseed rednecks.

Texas flirted with the PAC 10 when the SWC was breaking up

They’ve flirted with the PAC every time there’s been a reorganization of conferences.
Ultimately the travel and time difference would destroy their recruiting.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there some rule about Oklahoma and Oklahoma State having to be in the same conference? Either that or one wouldn't leave without the other joining the same conference. So how would they be in separate conferences? I thought it was similar to the UNC, Duke, and nc State situation.
