What if I told you LSU had a better run defense than Auburn

The stats say its true

Both have played 7 games

Defensive rushing


LSU allowing 93.29 YPG #2 in SEC
Auburn allowing 94.29 YPG #3 in SEC
Both teams have allowed 4 Rushing TD's

LSU is #1 in SEC in allowing the fewest long Running plays
Auburn is #4

Total Defense

Auburn #3 319.0 YPG
LSU #4 319.4 YPG

Auburn D has met the SEC leading rusher twice and both didn’t sniff 50 yards.

Auburn rush defense won’t be the problem...

Probably helps LSU scores 5,000 points a game so other teams have to pass to try to keep up.

Last year auburn CBs were holding on for dear life in the 4th when Burrow went off. We will see that for 4 quarters saturday

Regardless of who wins the game, it’s pretty safe to say that Auburns rush defense won’t be the reason why we lose.

I don’t think you will find many Bama fans that disagree. If y’all can’t beat us this year you won’t for the next 5 years either. The steak may end but the dominance won’t.
