They brought back old school SEC smash mouth football. Rushing for over 300 yards and played lights out defense.

No shoot out game. No gimmicky offense. They lined up and hit Texas in the mouth. I think they even scored once on a fullback dive. When’s the last time you saw a fullback dive out of the offset I formation?

It was fun to watch and honestly sort of nostalgic. Reminded me of early-mid 2000s SEC style football

On the coaches show they asked Pittman why he took a knee. "I wanted to go home"

I know what you mean man. The last time Bama played an honest to goodness fullback was Jalston Fowler back in '14-'15 season. The Hogs manned up and played old school football.

You can run the ball out of the shotgun if you have the pieces to the puzzle. Or your opponent is a pud.

Let us not kid ourselves. The SEC is a LOS conference. If you can't run/give your QB a couple of seconds you are deader than disco. Trust me. I know this from watching Bert and Chad era games.

You can absolutely, in this day and age, line up and kick someone in the balls. You just have to commit to doing it.

I can appreciate the Jersey number choice by Sanders and Smith

If only Johnson had picked #25

I really wish they'd retired Dmac's number 5

But I'm 'ole school

It was fun watching the shorthorns getting their shite pushed in.

It was a trap play over left guard. RB was lined up as FB. Burks was lined up at tailback to draw attention of defense.

That explains why Sam didn't have a review of the last Texas Touchdown.

I can’t agree. Everybody who grows up a hog fan wants to wear that #5. I am not big in retiring numbers anyways. If we do maybe only temporarily.

As an LSU fan, can you explain to me exactly what this is?

Sounds like something regarding tailgating.

What goes around comes around. Spread em out today. Bust em in the mouth tomorrow. I really really wish we had a triple option team in the conference. Call me crazy, but I love to watch that stuff. Vandy ought to do it.

It’s crazy how much different our offense looks this year. Might be closer to what Pittman prefers to run. We just didn’t have enough RB depth last year and Franks was a better passer than runner.
