What has UGA done to earn this level of respect?

They beat a 2 loss auburn team in the seccg and the equivalent of a group of 5 team in notre dame. Otherwise they’ve choked twice vs bama and gotten boat raced by LSU and Texas.

We beat Oklahoma in the Rose bowl and took Bama to overtime. Played great against Bama last year. Absolutely destroyed the SEC East over the last two years. Average margin of victory over 24 points per game. Have the best offensive line in the country and arguably the most talented team. LSU talks crap because they beat us at home last year. Would love to see LSU play us in Athens or a neutral site.
In fact, I can't remember the last time LSU won 10 games in the regular season. So it's not like y'all are only losing to Bama every year. You regularly lose to Florida and you also lose to Auburn on occasion. Those are both teams that we destroy. You even lose to Texas A&M now too, LOL. Other than playing Bama every year in the regular season, I don't see the difference between the SEC East and West. We beat Auburn every year and we would never lose to Texas A&M. Who else is left? Mississippi State?

I mean... they played for a national championship and took it to overtime just two years ago. Went to the Sugar Bowl last year. Played in the SEC championship twice in the last two years, winning one of them. 24-5 record last two years. Elite QB in Fromm. Finished top 3 in recruiting last two years, have the current #1 class. I think that deserves some respect

In all seriousness, Georgia has actually made the playoff and natty game.
They got beat by The Hawaii Secret Weapon.

Hey man. it’s 2019, so using 2017 and 2018 is sort of irrelevant. Lots of speculation goes into rankings this early. And a lot of pollsters speculate we are one of the best teams in the nation based on paper and results so far. I understand your frustration.

Imagine being a complete pussy because your team isn’t ranked higher than another team after 2 weeks of the season. LSU fans are so damned thirsty for validation, must suck to feel that way.

You seem to be forgetting when we beat Auburn 28-7 in the game that actually mattered. Auburn, like LSU, has yet to play in the CFP. Doubt y'all will actually make it to one.

Come on man! Just look at their record over the last two years and compare it TO OTHERS. Now tell me where you would put them? Seems to me, they are getting the respect they deserve at this point.
