What has changed for LSU since Les Miles other than lowered expectations?

You try to make yourselves feel better about last night's arse kicking by claiming that people only had you winning 8 games this year. You'll probably finish the regular season 10-2, lose a NY6 bowl game, and finish up with a 10-3 record. How is that any different from what Miles was doing before you fired his arse?

Nothing has changed at LSU. You have the same offensive philosophy, the same defensive schemes, and the same results. The only thing different is the talent gap. It's growing. Coach O cannot recruit as well as Les Miles did. So instead of seeing 21-17 hard fought affairs, you are going to see more and more of these double digit wins. Next year will likely be worse than 2018.

So I ask again, why fire Les Miles if you're just going to continue to do the same things he did while in Baton Rouge?

As long as Saban has his semi-pro program in high gear and only getting stronger, does it really matter?

Because I'm tired of seeing you guys do this to yourselves every year. If you want to be considered a rival of Alabama's, you at least have to show up and make it something of a contest.

I agree with everything you said except that we lose the bowl game. We very well may though.
Made no sense to fire miles to hire O. But as long as Alleva is allowed to hang around, We won’t be competing with Bama or playing for championships. It is disappointing.

What do you want us to do? We are just fans of the team just like you are only a fan of Bama. Nothing any of us or you do has any impact on the team or the decision made about it.

I guess you never heard the tale of Bob Bockrath and the Alabama fanbase who pressured him into hiring Mike DuBose.

It was the fans of the program who also got Shula fired, much to the protestations of the media personalities of the world at that time.

Alabama fans are more passionate about Alabama football. If Alabama football is terrible, what else do they have?

Most LSU fans will just watch the Saints when LSU isn’t winning. I’m not sure what would happen if both were bad. My guess, they’d be more upset about the Saints.

Look at Les Miles record his last 3 full seasons and that might answer your question

That’s pretty much how it was through the 80s and 90s

With the Miles buyouts and the coordinator salaries, their coaching payroll has risen quite a bit.
